CityLightBuzz: Hyderabad, Vyshnavie Natya Centre is set to present a special two-part cultural programme celebrating Indian classical dance, tradition and environmental awareness.
Part 1 – ‘Nrithya Vikasam: The Emergence of a Dancer’
The first segment will feature a classical dance presentation by the students of Vyshnavie Natya Centre, showcasing their training, talent and artistic journey through Indian classical dance.
Part 2 – ‘Swacch Ganga: A River with a Soul’ The second segment will be a grand multimedia presentation dedicated to the River Ganga, combining classical dance, visual storytelling and music to highlight the river’s cultural and spiritual significance as well as the importance of protecting it.
The presentation will feature Dr. Rajeswari Sainath, recipient of the Central Sangeet Natak Akademi Award, along with her disciples Dr. Vyshnavi Sainath Prabhu, portraying Ganga.
The event will be graced by Padma Bhushan Shantha Vasantha Trust as the Chief Guest. Dr. Varaprasad Reddy and Dr. Vijaya Krishnan, DPT, CPM, Director, The Sanctum Natural Birth Centre, will attend as Guests of Honour.
The programme promises to be a unique blend of classical dance, multimedia presentation, culture and a message of environmental responsibility, bringing together artistic expression and awareness for the conservation of one of India’s most revered rivers.
