CityLightBuzz: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy offered special prayers at the renowned Ujjaini Mahankali Temple in Secunderabad on the auspicious occasion of the temple festivities. The Chief Minister sought the blessings of Goddess Mahankali for the peace, prosperity, and well-being of the people of Telangana.
During his visit, temple priests welcomed the Chief Minister with traditional temple honours and conducted special rituals. He participated in the pujas and offered prayers to the presiding deity, praying for good rainfall, agricultural prosperity, and the continued development of the state.
Several Cabinet Ministers accompanied the Chief Minister, including Minister Konda Surekha, Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, Minister Seethakka and MLA Danam Nagender They also participated in the special rituals and sought the blessings of the Goddess. A number of MLAs, MLCs, public representatives, senior government officials, and temple authorities were also present on the occasion. The temple premises witnessed elaborate security arrangements as thousands of devotees gathered to offer prayers during the festivities. The Ujjaini Mahankali Temple is one of Telangana’s most revered temples and attracts lakhs of devotees every year, especially during the annual Bonalu celebrations. The visit by the Chief Minister and his Cabinet colleagues reflected the government’s respect for Telangana’s rich cultural and spiritual traditions.
After offering prayers, the Chief Minister greeted devotees and interacted with temple authorities, appreciating the arrangements made for the smooth conduct of the celebrations. He wished that the blessings of Goddess Mahankali would bring happiness, prosperity, and good health to every family in Telangana.
