CityLightBuzz: Hyderabad,August 2026, Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has informed people’s representatives that the Monsoon Session of the Telangana Legislative Assembly is likely to commence from September 7.After returning from his successful visit to Britain, the Chief Minister met available ministers, MPs, MLCs and MLAs at the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat.During the meeting, CM Revanth Reddy urged elected representatives to focus more on the development of their constituencies. He directed them to expedite pending land acquisition works related to irrigation projects in their respective Assembly constituencies.
The Chief Minister stressed that delays in land acquisition could prevent irrigation projects from being completed. He assured that the government is ready to provide funds immediately for land acquisition, rehabilitation and resettlement (R&R), and forest clearances wherever required.Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, Ministers N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, Tummala Nageswara Rao, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy and Danasari Anasuya Seethakka, along with government whips, MPs, MLCs and several MLAs, attended the meeting.
The meeting focused on accelerating development works, resolving land acquisition issues and ensuring timely completion of irrigation projects across Telangana.
