Moosarambagh High-Level Bridge Inaugurated, Boosting Hyderabad’s Urban Connectivity

CityLightBuzz: Hyderabad, August 31, 2026, Hyderabad’s urban infrastructure received a major boost with the inauguration of the ₹52 crore Moosarambagh High-Level Bridge across the Musi River on August 31. The bridge was formally inaugurated by Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy, marking another important step towards improving connectivity and mobility in the city.
The newly inaugurated high-level bridge is expected to provide faster, smoother and more convenient connectivity between Moosarambagh and several important parts of Hyderabad. The project is aimed at easing traffic movement and improving accessibility for commuters and residents in the surrounding areas.
Key Infrastructure Milestone
The bridge across the Musi River is expected to play an important role in strengthening Hyderabad’s road network. With growing traffic volumes and increasing urbanisation, improved river crossings and high-level road infrastructure are crucial for reducing travel time and enhancing overall mobility.
The project represents another significant addition to Hyderabad’s expanding urban infrastructure and is expected to support smoother vehicular movement in and around the Moosarambagh area.
Ministers, MPs and MLAs Attend Inauguration
The inauguration ceremony was attended by several Ministers, Members of Parliament and MLAs, including  Khairatabad MLA Sri Danam Nagendar , Sri Malreddy Ranga Reddy, Sri V. Naveen Yadav, MLA, Jubilee Hills, Sri N. Ganesh, MLA, Secunderabad Cantonment, Sri Kaleru Venkatesh, MLA, Amberpet, Sri Ahmed Bin Abdullah Balala, MLA, Malakpet, Sri M. Anil Kumar Yadav, Rajya Sabha MP, and Sri Asaduddin Owaisi, MP, Hyderabad.
Senior officials were also present at the event, including Spl. Chief Secretary, MA&UD, Sri Jayesh Ranjan, IAS, and GHMC Commissioner Sri R. V. Karnan, IAS. Better Mobility for Hyderabad, The Moosarambagh High-Level Bridge is expected to benefit commuters travelling between Moosarambagh and neighbouring areas by providing an improved road connection across the Musi River.
The project is being viewed as an important step towards better urban mobility, improved connectivity and stronger infrastructure for Hyderabad. As the city continues to expand, projects of this scale are expected to contribute to more efficient transportation and improved connectivity between different parts of the metropolitan area.
The inauguration of the ₹52 crore bridge marks another milestone in Hyderabad’s ongoing infrastructure development, with the new facility set to serve thousands of commuters and strengthen the city’s road network.
