HYDERABAD: BRS MLC Dr. Dasoju Sravan, along with BRS leaders from the Khairatabad constituency, unveiled models of kiosks designed to facilitate Graduate Voter Registration at Telangana Bhavan.
Speaking to the media after the programme, Dr. Dasoju Sravan highlighted issues concerning land disputes in Hyderabad, particularly the Miyapur land issue, and stressed the importance of protecting public land and ensuring its proper utilisation.
He referred to the Miyapur land dispute, stating that the issue had been pending since 1995, as reportedly clarified by Ranga Reddy District Collector Narayana Reddy. He urged the Chief Minister to examine the relevant official records and understand the legal background of the matter before making statements. Dr. Sravan also emphasised that court judgments and legal procedures must be respected while dealing with land-related disputes. He expressed concern over the handling of government lands and called for transparency in land administration.
Referring to the Miyapur lands, he said that such valuable land should be utilised for the welfare of economically weaker sections and public purposes rather than for commercial interests.
He further raised concerns about land management within the Hyderabad urban region and called for accountability and proper protection of public assets.
BRS leaders Manne Govardhan Reddy, Viplav Kumar, Mahesh Yadav, Rajaram Yadav and others participated in the programme.
