CM Chandrababu Naidu Launches CT Scan, Dialysis Services at Kuppam Government Hospital

Kuppam, July 4: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said that data integration is the cornerstone of the Sanjeevani healthcare initiative, directing officials to ensure seamless integration of health records along with complete digitisation of medical services.

On the second day of his Kuppam constituency tour, the Chief Minister inaugurated CT Scan and Dialysis Centres at the Kuppam Area Government Hospital and reviewed the implementation of the Sanjeevani Project, healthcare innovations, and anti-drug initiatives.

Need for Data Integration Along With Digitisation

After inaugurating the CT Scan and Dialysis facilities, the Chief Minister asked officials about the hospital’s daily CT scan capacity. Officials informed him that the centre could provide 30 to 40 scans per day.

During his inspection, the Chief Minister noticed garbage within the hospital premises and instructed officials to remove it immediately and maintain high standards of cleanliness.

He emphasized that digitisation alone is not enough and that data integration across all healthcare services is essential to improve patient care and governance. He directed officials to ensure that all health records are digitally integrated under the Sanjeevani Project.

While visiting the dialysis ward, officials informed him that patients from neighbouring states also visit the Kuppam Area Hospital for dialysis treatment. The Chief Minister instructed officials to prepare a detailed report on the benefits the Sanjeevani Project has delivered to the people of Kuppam and to ensure public satisfaction with the programme.

Strict Action Against Drugs and Ganja

The Chief Minister also inspected the Panchatatva-themed Walking Track, where he planted a sapling.

He visited an exhibition showcasing innovations in the healthcare sector and appreciated a student who developed a device capable of instantly alerting doctors during road accidents.

Representatives of the Brahma Kumaris explained their efforts to help individuals affected by drugs and ganja recover through meditation and counselling.

The Chief Minister directed senior police officials to adopt a zero-tolerance approach and take stringent action to curb the menace of drugs and ganja across the state.

Later, he inaugurated the Swarna Kuppam–Swachh Kuppam Welcome Arch in Kuppam town.

Transport Minister Mandipalli Ramprasad Reddy, Chittoor MP Daggumalla Prasada Rao, public representatives, and district officials participated in the programme.
