Srikakulam: After attending the Swarna Andhra–Swachh Andhra program in Narasannapeta, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu visited the stalls near the public venue.
At the Savara Art Gallery set up under the ITDA, tribal artisans showcased their handmade products. The Chief Minister purchased and wore a specially designed overcoat made by tribal members, appreciating their craftsmanship.
He also interacted with officials to learn about seaweed cultivation being promoted in coastal areas and suggested that efforts should be made to increase income opportunities for fishermen.
Later, the Chief Minister appreciated an innovative initiative by Srikakulam police — the Helmet Bank, aimed at promoting road safety awareness. He praised the concept and encouraged such programs.
In a symbolic gesture, Chandrababu Naidu wore a helmet and rode a Bullet motorcycle, sending a strong message on road safety.
