CityLightBuzz: Hyderabad, August 15, 2026: On the occasion of the 80th Independence Day, Telangana Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy attended the ‘At Home’ programme hosted by Telangana Governor Sri Shiv Pratap Shukla at Lok Bhavan, Hyderabad.
The programme brought together dignitaries, senior government officials and public representatives to mark the nation’s Independence Day in a spirit of unity and patriotism.On the occasion, the sacrifices and contributions of the freedom fighters were remembered with respect. Discussions also highlighted the importance of national unity, democratic values, constitutional principles and inclusive development.
CM Revanth Reddy reiterated the commitment of the Telangana government towards the progress, welfare and comprehensive development of the state, while upholding democratic values and the spirit of the Constitution.
The event reflected the significance of Independence Day as an occasion to honour the past and reaffirm the collective responsibility to build a stronger, more inclusive and progressive Telangana. Jai Hind! | Vande Mataram!
