Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has laid the foundation stone for the construction of
“Indiramma Indlu” (Indiramma Houses) Towers in the CURE (Core Urban Region of Hyderabad) area, with the programme commencing from KPHB. The foundation-stone laying ceremony was attended by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy along with Housing & Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, IT & Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu, Hyderabad In-charge Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, Telangana Legislative Council Chief Whip Patnam Mahender Reddy, MLAs, senior officials and other public representatives.
The initiative aims to provide affordable housing to eligible economically weaker families in Hyderabad, particularly those who do not own a house. Under the urban Indiramma Housing initiative, the government is planning multi-storeyed housing towers instead of conventional individual houses in the core urban region

Carpet area: Approximately 400 sq. ft.
Eligibility: Primarily aimed at eligible families without their own house in the prescribed Hyderabad/CURE area.
The government has stated that the initiative is intended to help fulfil the dream of owning a house for poor and eligible families in Hyderabad, while making better use of limited urban land through multi-storeyed housing.
The KPHB programme marks an important step in taking the Indiramma Housing initiative forward in Hyderabad’s urban region.
