In view of the festival, a coordination meeting was held at the Neredmet CP Office with members of the Muslim community and Gau Rakshak groups. Officials from various departments participated and discussed security, sanitation, traffic, and law & order arrangements.
Special security arrangements have been made to prevent any untoward incidents during the festival days.
Continuous surveillance will be maintained through CCTV cameras in sensitive areas.

Citizens are urged to celebrate the festival peacefully with mutual cooperation and without taking the law into their own hands.
Members of Gau Rakshak groups were instructed not to stop vehicles transporting cattle, attack individuals, or conduct forced inspections. They were advised to immediately inform the local police if they notice any suspicious activity.
Citizens are requested to carry out animal slaughter only at government-designated places and maintain cleanliness, while cooperating with municipal staff.
The Commissioner emphasized that public cooperation is crucial for maintaining peace and order.
