The senior members and executive committee of the Film Critics Association congratulated Sri Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao on his impressive victory in the recently held Producers Council elections, where he was elected as the Treasurer.
During the meeting, Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao shared details of the developments that took place before the elections and spoke about the significant majority with which he won.
He assured the members that he would sincerely fulfil the responsibilities entrusted to him as Treasurer. He also stated that the newly elected executive committee would work with dedication to undertake several initiatives for the welfare of producers, particularly small and struggling producers.
“We are preparing to take up several programmes that will benefit small producers. There is no question of backing down due to pressure from anyone. Our services will be remembered in the history of the producers’ community,” he said.
Speaking about the previously announced tower project for journalists, Srinivasa Rao said that the necessary legal procedures are currently being completed. He expressed confidence that the groundbreaking ceremony will be held within this year.
The felicitation programme was attended by senior Film Critics Association members, including Trade Guide Venkateswara Rao, Kondapaneni Uma Maheswara Rao and Balireddy.
Executive committee members Mamidipalli Giridhar, Chanduramesh, Parveen Babi, Naveen and Kumaraswamy also participated in the programme.
Film Critics Association General Secretary Suresh Kondeti and President Bathula Prasada Rao were among those present.
The members conveyed their best wishes to Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao and expressed confidence that his tenure would contribute significantly to the welfare and development of the Telugu film industry and its producer community.
