CityLightBuzz: Hyderabad: Congress leaders visited former Gajwel MLA and former Siddipet DCC president Toomkunta Narsa Reddy, who is undergoing treatment at NIMS Hospital after sustaining injuries during a protest near the Erravelli farmhouse on Wednesday morning.
PCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud, Ministers Ponnam Prabhakar and Vivek Venkataswamy, along with other senior Congress leaders, visited Narsa Reddy at the hospital and enquired about his health condition.
The leaders spoke to the doctors treating Narsa Reddy and reviewed the medical care being provided to him. According to the doctors, his health condition is currently stable, and he is receiving the necessary treatment.
The Congress leaders assured Narsa Reddy that the party would stand firmly by him during the difficult time. They expressed their wishes for his speedy recovery and urged the doctors to provide him with the best possible medical care.
The leaders also requested the hospital authorities and medical team to take all necessary measures to ensure that Narsa Reddy receives comprehensive treatment and recovers at the earliest.
The incident took place during a protest near KCR’s Erravelli farmhouse, where tensions reportedly escalated between supporters of the ruling Congress and BRS. Narsa Reddy was subsequently shifted to NIMS for treatment.
The visit by the Congress leadership comes amid heightened political tensions in Telangana following the clashes and protests surrounding the Erravelli incident.
