Grand Immersion Concludes Peacefully at NTR Marg
The majestic Khairatabad Maha Ganapati has reached the waters of Hussainsagar, marking the grand conclusion of the city’s iconic Ganesh celebrations.The Maha Ganapati Shobhayatra began at 9:30 AM from Khairatabad, proceeding through Sensation Theatre, Rajdoot Junction, Telephone Bhavan, Iqbal Minar, and NTR Marg amid the chants of “Ganpati Bappa Morya” and the devotion of thousands of devotees. Upon reaching NTR Marg, the Ganesh Utsav Committee performed special prayers and rituals for the Bada Ganesh before commencing the final immersion ceremony.
At approximately 2:15 PM, the immersion of the Khairatabad Maha Ganapati was successfully completed at Crane No. 4 on NTR Marg, with the assistance of heavy-duty cranes.
The historic procession witnessed massive participation from devotees, creating an atmosphere filled with devotion, celebration and spiritual fervour. With the peaceful completion of the immersion, Hyderabad bid a heartfelt farewell to its beloved Khairatabad Bada Ganesh.
