Mission-80 World Record Successfully Completed
As part of the 80th Independence Day celebrations of India, GVR Karate Academy successfully conducted the “Mission-80” World Record Attempt at Dr. G.S. Melkote Park.
Police Constable V. Sudhakar, a national-level Karate athlete from GVR Karate Academy and serving at Alwal Police Station under Malkajgiri Commissionerate, showcased his exceptional martial arts skills by breaking 80 Shahabad tiles using 9 different Karate body techniques in just 3 minutes and 6 seconds, against the allotted time of 8 minutes.The record attempt was conducted under the supervision of Wonder Book of Records International. Shri Bingi Narender Goud, Chief Coordinator – India, Wonder Book of Records International, officially monitored the performance and declared the record attempt successfully completed as per the prescribed rules.
Speaking on the occasion, former Himayatnagar Corporator Mahalakshmi Ramanna Goud appreciated V. Sudhakar for his dedication and rigorous practice. She stated that the “Mission-80” initiative aims to inspire youngsters towards discipline, determination, physical fitness, sports, and patriotism, while encouraging them to stay away from drugs and other unhealthy habits.

Gopal Reddy, academy Black Belts Narsing Rao, Kareem, Amrutha Reddy, Gana Santoshi Reddy, Raju and Avighna Venkata Reddy, Melkote Park President Bhushan Rao, Bharathwaj, Abhishek Reddy, Jeshwal, Jekki Hussain, Aryan Kishan, Raghu, Narsing cricket coaches, students, parents, sports enthusiasts and several prominent personalities.
