CityLightBuzz: Telangana PCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud alleged that the Central Government has commercialized the country’s education system, making serious remarks at the “Chhatron Ki Goonj” programme held in Boyinpally, Hyderabad.

The event was attended by Programme Convener and Government Whip Dr. Balmoor Venkat, MLA Sri Ganesh, Corporation Chairpersons, former Union Minister Venugopal Chary, Congress-affiliated leaders, students, and youth in large numbers. Addressing the gathering, the leaders expressed concern over the repeated leaks of recruitment and competitive examination question papers, stating that such incidents are playing with the future of students and unemployed youth across the country. They alleged that despite facing several accusations over exam paper leaks, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has not resigned and that the Central Government has failed to take any action against him.

The leaders said that Rahul Gandhi had launched the “Chhatron Ki Goonj” campaign to build public pressure on the Central Government over issues affecting students and youth. They appealed to students, youth, and the public to actively participate in the movement in support of education reforms and greater accountability.
