Saifabad Police Hold Meeting with Temple and Peace Committee Members Ahead of Ashada Bonalu

CityLightBuzz: Ahead of the Ashada Bonalu festivities, Saifabad Police organised a meeting with members of various temple committees and the Peace Committee to ensure the celebrations are conducted peacefully and smoothly.
The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Circle Inspector K. Nageshwar Rao. Sector Inspector Nikhith and other police officials also participated in the meeting.
Representatives from several temple committees attended the programme, including Puli Santhosh, Treasurer of the Saptamatha Temple, member Santhosh Yadav, and Bola Shankar Bhakta Samaj Temple representatives Rajasekhar and Sri Bhulakshmamma. Representatives from Nalla Pochamma Temple, including President Nagaraju and senior Maitri Committee member K. Nageshwar, were also present.Speaking at the meeting, Circle Inspector K. Nageshwar Rao urged the temple committees and organisers to celebrate Ashada Bonalu in accordance with traditional customs while maintaining peace and public safety.He clearly stated that DJ systems will not be permitted during the festivities. He also appealed to organisers to conduct Palanquin processions, rallies and Bonalu celebrations peacefully, following the prescribed guidelines and avoiding any activities that could cause inconvenience to the public.
The Circle Inspector emphasised the importance of maintaining harmony and cooperation among organisers, devotees and the police during the celebrations.
Members of the Peace Committee, Maitri Committee and various temple committees participated in the meeting and assured the police of their cooperation in ensuring peaceful and orderly Bonalu celebrations.The meeting concluded with a call for collective responsibility from temple committees, organisers and devotees to preserve the traditional spirit of Ashada Bonalu while ensuring public safety and maintaining law and order.
