CityLightBuzz.Com: New Chapter Begins in the Telangana Legislative Assembly

A new chapter has begun in the Telangana Legislative Assembly with the establishment of a dedicated office for the Media Advisory Committee—a first-of-its-kind initiative.

Neither the erstwhile undivided Andhra Pradesh Assembly nor the Telangana Legislative Assembly, since the formation of the state, had ever provided a separate office for the Media Advisory Committee. In line with the vision of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Legislative Council Chairman Gutta Sukender Reddy and Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar directed the Assembly and Council Secretaries to personally oversee the establishment of the dedicated office.

Notably, no other State Legislative Assembly in the country, nor even the Parliament of India, has a separate office exclusively for a Media Advisory Committee. Telangana has become the first legislature in the country to introduce such a facility.

The Media Advisory Committee office was inaugurated today by Legislative Council Chairman Gutta Sukender Reddy, Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar, Ministers D. Sridhar Babu, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, and MP Vem Narender Reddy.

Media Advisory Committee Chairman Aireddy Srinivas Reddy, Co-Chairman Paripoorna Chary, and other committee members also participated in the inauguration and performed traditional prayers to mark the occasion.
