CityLightBuzz: New Delhi. Telangana BJP MP Etala Rajender, along with a delegation of BJP Members of Parliament from Telangana, met Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari in New Delhi to discuss key infrastructure issues affecting commuters in Hyderabad.
During the meeting, the MPs highlighted the delay in the construction of the Kompally Flyover and Uppal Flyover, stating that the prolonged works have led to a rise in road accidents in the surrounding areas.
The delegation requested the Union Minister to ensure that the service roads alongside the ongoing flyover projects are repaired and made pothole-free to improve commuter safety until the projects are completed.
Responding positively, Nitin Gadkari directed officials to complete the pending service road works within the next 10 days, aiming to provide immediate relief to motorists and reduce the risk of accidents.
