Several tribal organizations conducted a protest at the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) office in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, condemning the recent ACB raids on Lambadi employees and senior officials.
The protestors alleged that the ACB actions against Lambadi community employees and higher officials were politically motivated and demanded an immediate halt to such raids.
They stated that targeting senior officials belonging to a particular community amounts to unfair action and urged the government to ensure justice. The organizations warned that continued attacks on Lambadi employees and officials would lead to stronger protests in the coming days.
The protest was attended by Tribal Students Union National Executive President Venkat Banjara, Tribal Welfare Association State President Korra Lakpathi Naik, Banjara Tribal Students’ Union State President Shiva Naik, Tribal Students Union State Executive President Don Srinu, Lambadi Rights Struggle Committee leaders Sudheer Naik, Punni Bai, Padma Bai, and others.
