Uppal MLA Bandari Lakshma Reddy Participates in Bhoomi Pooja Ceremony for Charlapally Lake Restoration and Development Works

The Bhoomi Pooja and inauguration ceremony for the restoration and development works of Charlapally Lake was held grandly on Tuesday.

The prestigious development project is being undertaken jointly by the Telangana Prisons & Correctional Services Department, HYDRAA, and Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL). Uppal MLA Shri Bandari Lakshma Reddy participated in the programme.

Speaking on the occasion, Director General of Telangana Prisons & Correctional Services Dr. Sowmya Mishra, IPS, and MLA Bandari Lakshma Reddy said that the restoration of Charlapally Lake will play a key role in environmental protection, increasing groundwater levels, conserving biodiversity, and creating a pleasant atmosphere for local residents.

They stated that this initiative, being carried out through coordination among government departments and organizations, will serve as a model for urban development. Officials from the Prisons Department, HYDRAA, IOCL, local leaders, and several residents participated in the programme.
