Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla Calls for Stronger India–Asia Business Partnerships at India Asian Business Conclave in Hyderabad

CityLightBuzz: Telangana Governor Shri Shiv Pratap Shukla attended the India Asian Business Conclave as the Chief Guest at HITEX Exhibition Centre, Hyderabad, on Saturday. The conclave was organized by the Global India Business Forum (GIBF) and brought together diplomats, policymakers, industry leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, and business representatives from across Asia to discuss opportunities for economic collaboration and sustainable development.
Addressing the distinguished gathering, Governor Shukla said that India is rapidly emerging as a trusted global partner and a major driver of Asia’s economic growth, thanks to its stable economy, progressive reforms, and innovation-driven development model.
The Governor highlighted the transformative impact of flagship initiatives launched by the Government of India, including Act East Policy, Make in India, Digital India, Startup India, and PM Gati Shakti. He said these programmes have significantly strengthened India’s business ecosystem by improving infrastructure,

promoting innovation, encouraging entrepreneurship, and attracting global investments.
Emphasizing India’s growing role in the global economy, Governor Shukla noted that the country has become a preferred destination for businesses seeking reliable partnerships, skilled talent, and a vibrant investment environment. He stressed that deeper economic cooperation among Asian nations would promote innovation, trade, technology exchange, and long-term sustainable growth.
The Governor also showcased Telangana as one of India’s leading investment destinations, citing its investor-friendly policies, transparent governance, world-class infrastructure, and skilled workforce. He said the state has consistently attracted investments across diverse sectors due to its proactive industrial policies and ease of doing business.
Speaking about Hyderabad’s rapid transformation, Governor Shukla described the city as a global hub for technology, innovation, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, artificial intelligence, and deep-tech startups. He said Hyderabad continues to strengthen its position as a preferred destination for

multinational companies, research institutions, and emerging technology enterprises.
Calling for stronger collaboration between India and Asian economies, the Governor urged governments, industries, startups, and investors to work together in building resilient supply chains, promoting sustainable industrial growth, encouraging innovation, and creating new opportunities for trade and investment.
He expressed confidence that forums such as the India Asian Business Conclave would play a vital role in fostering meaningful partnerships, strengthening regional economic ties, and contributing to shared prosperity across Asia.
The conclave witnessed participation from leading business executives, diplomatic representatives, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and industry experts who exchanged ideas on investment opportunities, emerging technologies, international trade, and the future of economic cooperation between India and Asian nations.
