Rama Rao (KTR) extended greetings to handloom workers on the occasion of National Handloom Day, praising their invaluable contribution to society and civilization. He said Telangana’s skilled weavers, despite facing numerous hardships during the united state’s rule, preserved the rich handloom tradition through their dedication and craftsmanship.
KTR stated that the BRS Government under KCR’s leadership introduced several welfare schemes, including Chenetha Mithra, Nethannaku Cheyutha, Nethanna Bima, Bathukamma Sarees, loan waivers, and pension benefits, which helped revive the handloom sector and improve the livelihoods of weaving families. He reiterated that the BRS Party remains committed to the welfare of weavers and the comprehensive development of Telangana’s handloom industry.
