CityLightBuzz: Hyderabad,September 04.2026, The teaser of “Delulu”, an upcoming new-age Telugu film targeting the Gen Z audience, was launched in the presence of media representatives and film personalities. The film is produced by Sankeerth Konda under the Kreative Launch Pad banner and directed by Preetham Kasturi.
Speaking at the teaser launch, lead actor Vijay Raj Kumar shared how Megastar Chiranjeevi’s belief in him gave him the confidence to believe in himself.
“When Chiranjeevi garu believes in me as a hero, I should also believe in myself,” said Vijay Raj Kumar.
He also revealed that Chiranjeevi’s WhatsApp status changed his life, making the veteran actor’s encouragement a memorable moment in his journey.
A New-Age Film for Gen Z
“Delulu” is being presented as a contemporary film designed to connect with today’s younger generation. The title itself comes from the popular Gen Z slang “Delulu”, and the team believes the film’s themes, dialogues, music and entertainment will strongly appeal to young audiences.
The film features Vijay Raj Kumar, Veni Rao, Sai Prasanna, Akhil Jackson and Sreerama Mandava in key roles.
The story has been written by Reshmit S Kaushik, while Vijay Raj Kumar has penned the dialogues. Jai Raj Naidu is the cinematographer, Aadi Chebrolu has composed the music, and Harikrishna Kurapati is handling the editing.
Film Team Shares Their Experience ,Cinematographer Jai Raj Naidu thanked director Preetham for giving him the opportunity and supporting his work. He revealed that the film has been in the making for around two years and said the producer trusted his talent and gave him an opportunity even before personally meeting him. He expressed confidence that the film would be entertaining throughout.
Editor Harikrishna Kurapati said the movie brought together a group of newcomers and promised plenty of fun and entertainment. He requested audiences to support the entire team.
Music director Aadi Chebrolu spoke about the Gen Z origins of the title “Delulu” and said the entire team had worked hard to prove themselves with their first film. He particularly thanked producer Sankeerth Konda for supporting the newcomers like an elder brother. Actor Akhil Jackson became emotional while speaking about his debut and credited his mother for helping him reach this stage. He thanked the entire team for giving him the opportunity and expressed confidence in the film.
Actresses Veni Rao and Sai Prasanna thanked the media and audience for attending the event and supporting the team. They said the entire cast and crew had worked hard to bring the film to audiences.
Director Preetham Kasturi Thanks the Team
Director Preetham Kasturi, who is making his directorial debut with “Delulu”, thanked the media, guests and the entire film unit.
He emphasised that filmmaking is a collective effort and specially acknowledged the contributions of the production and direction teams, cinematographer Jai Raj Naidu, music director Aadi Chebrolu and editor Harikrishna Kurapati.
Preetham revealed that music and dialogues will be among the major attractions of the film, adding that the songs in the movie would be even better than what audiences heard in the teaser.
He also thanked producer Sankeerth Konda and hero Vijay Raj Kumar for believing in him and giving him the opportunity to make his directorial debut.

Actor Krishna, known for “Jigirees”, appreciated the teaser and praised the team’s promotional efforts. He wished the entire unit success.
Director Akki Viswanatha Reddy, who directed “Secret Soldier”, also attended the event and said the teaser showed promise. He expressed hope that “Delulu” would become a successful film and conveyed his best wishes to the entire team.
