On the occasion of World Environment Day (June 5, 2026), She’s India took a meaningful step towards environmental conservation by planting saplings at the Hill Top Guest House in collaboration with the Telangana Special Police (TGSP).
The initiative was conducted as a unique Sareethon, with participants elegantly dressed in shades of green and earth colours, symbolizing their commitment to nature and sustainability.
Though small in scale, it was a remarkable effort led by Founder Sharon Fernandes and Co-Founder Shilpa Jain, aimed at giving back to Mother Earth and inspiring others to embrace eco-friendly practices.
The event received tremendous support from Commandant Murali Krishna and other TGSP officials, whose encouragement helped make the initiative a success.
Speaking on the occasion, Founder Sharon Fernandes emphasized that protecting the environment begins with simple everyday actions such as conserving water, preventing wastage, protecting trees, reducing energy consumption, and adopting sustainable habits. She highlighted that collective small efforts can create a significant positive impact on the planet for future generations.
